3 Prosperity Hens Garland

Hens symbolize prosperity. These cloth hens are made in the stark desert of Northern India, where women have formed a crafts' cooperative, creating an economy where none existed. These colorful little ornaments, crafted from scraps of fabric are decorated with carefully chosen glass beads, silver sequins, and a little brass bell. Each strand has 3 multicolored hens and is approximately 10" long. Set of three small birds made from cotton fabric, with glass beads, and a single bell. Lengths vary slightly, as they are handmade. Made in Rajasthan, India.
